PHOTO CONTEST: An invitation to discover nature up close!
Open your eyes and your lenses wide... to reveal the natural beauty of this place.
This weekend, admission to the park will be free for everyone who enters the competition. Visits to the château and outdoor activities will be available at the usual rate.
How to enter the nature photo competition
- Come along on Saturday 26 July from 2pm to 6pm and on Sunday 27 July from 11am to 6pm. Entry to the park is free for those who register for the competition. Visits to the château and outdoor activities remain accessible at the usual rates.
- Take a stroll through the park with its bicentenary trees, forest, meadows or permaculture garden and take your best nature photo: wildlife, flora, whatever inspires you.
- Send it by email to preischchateau@gmail.com with the subject photo competition until 28 July. Name your photo with your surname, first name and its title, but above all send an unretouched photo with no use of AI!- The facebook vote will take place from 1 to 15 August.
- The votes of our nature guides and the Facebook votes will each count for half.
- Finally, a professional photographer, Eric Photography in Algrange, will decide between the finalists. The authors of the 4 winning photos will be notified by email.
- The author of the winning photo will be rewarded with a 6-hour photography course worth €300, courtesy of Eric Photography.
- The 2nd, 3rd and 4th prizes will be gift vouchers to print a photo book from our partner SAAL digital.
- The 20 most popular photos will be exhibited at the Château during the European Heritage Days on 20-21 September 2025. The prizes will be presented to the winners on Sunday 21 at 3pm.
